CRM Lead

We need a Customer Retention Management (CRM) Lead to help make sure of that.

As our CRM Lead, you’d take a broad view of our customer base, dive into the data and then think creatively about how we might engage them better, more frequently, and for a longer time. You’d oversee our email program and find new ways to interact with our database. You’d look to connect the dots between our online and offline customers. You’d collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to facilitate content creation and align campaigns. You’d work with our data team to understand customer segmentation, behaviour and lifetime value to leverage in lifecycle marketing. You would own and drive post-purchase email flows, loyalty, referral, review and NPR programs. And you’d strive to understand our customers so deeply that you are able to represent them across the business.

You’re fascinated by human behaviour and finding patterns in things. Probably described as ‘rational’ once or twice before, you analyse everything. But you never let yourself get lost in the weeds. You’re able to dive into the detail, analyse the heck out of it and then step back to where the fresh ideas exist in your mind.

You come from a marketing background, and you enjoy the balance marketing can offer between reports and spreadsheets with creative problem-solving. You love using detail to build the bigger picture. And you like to work within a team pulling towards a common goal – when that goal involves making customers do good things, even better. Because you take pride in your work and like to show the proof of what you’ve done through facts, figures and graphs. You’re organised. Practical. Open-minded. You know there’s never just one way of doing things, and you love to spend time on designing a solution to a problem, before executing it.

  • Online retail/e-commerce background, preferably
  • Performance campaign experience
  • Familiarity with customer lifetime value
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Affinity for customer behaviour
  • Ability to apply hypotheses to data
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with digital, data and creative teams
  • Experience with A/B testing, messaging and post-campaign analysis


  • Developed a multi-channel customer lifecycle strategy that covered all stages, from converting new users to their first order to engaging and retaining them throughout and long-term lifecycle
  • Collaborated with the creative team on setting the campaign calendar and newsletter cadence to drive commercial performance of the email channel
  • Worked with the creative team to design and launch automated campaigns
  • Worked with our Conversion Rate Optimization specialist to define and execute an A/B email testing calendar
  • Defined KPIs to guide, prioritize and measure the success of the email strategy
  • Helped the Customer Support team to create and deliver product feedback surveys
  • Built or maintained our Facebook and Google audience lists
  • Sat in our Demand Creation meeting and spoken up for what you think our customers would respond to best

Nuestra sede en la playa está ubicada detrás de un acantilado que preside una de las costas australianas favoritas de los amantes del surf. Aquí se encuentra el laboratorio de creación en el que experimentan los diseñadores de producto, y nuestro departamento de ventas consume incalculables cantidades de espresso y de banda ancha en Skype. La vida aquí es más tranquila que la de nuestros vecinos urbanos de Fitzroy, y apreciamos el ambiente de concentración que fomenta. Si quieres salir a picar algo, hay una cafetería justo al lado, y nuestro surf break de las 11 am nos ayuda a despejar la mente con la brisa marina.


Nuestra oficina en Fitzroy se encuentra sumergida en medio del hervidero creativo de Melbourne. Aquí es en donde nuestro equipo creativo, de marketing, informático y de operaciones desarrollan las campañas y se aseguran de que cada Bellroy le llegue correctamente a su destinatario. Nada más poner un pie fuera de la oficina te topas con calles llenas de vida (y el mejor ramen fuera de Tokio). También hay una piscina olímpica cerca para los que quieren darse un chapuzón a la hora de comer.

Fuera de nuestras dos oficinas principales, tenemos a un equipo que trabaja a distancia, desde Australia occidental, Asia, Europa y EE. UU. El carácter global forma parte de la esencia de Bellroy, nos mantiene conectados, y nos permite entender la vida desde diferentes puntos de vista.
